Hey! I had a blast at the Dead of Winter Horror Invitational, which is how I got here. For those that know me, I'm Jill. I'm a DM and Role player, and trying to get continually better at both.

I DM a DnD 3.5 game that's running into it's epic (literally) conclusion sometime in the next few months. I've been running it for more than three years, with mostly the same players start to finish. I also play in a weekly 4E game.

I’m extremely interested in moving onto non DnD systems when my current game winds up. I love horror roleplay it all it's various flavors, and some flavor of Cthulu (I picked up Cthulu Tech before I got home from Dead of Winter), or possibly White Wolf may be the winner. I'm also interested in developing shorter one shots for some of my favorite story game systems like don't rest your head and dogs in the vineyard.

I’m a con junkie – kubla, dundra, gencon socal (the last one), DoWHI (the best con ever)…. is this the gen con year?

I’ve been known to have rules conversations that last for hours. But I don’t allow them in game. Game time is for role-play, not debate.

I’m interested in thinking more deeply about gaming, what makes a great game, becoming a better DM and a better Role Player, and discussing it with whoever else wants to think with me. I’m also interested in women and gaming… what pulls us in, why there aren’t more of us, and how to change that.
