I grew up in a small Kansas town where playing Dungeons & Dragons was "queer," "Satanic," or sometimes both. This somehow failed to hinder me finding an AD&D player's guide when I was about 12 and being totally engrossed in it. It would be a couple years before I actually played the game, but I've been in love with tabletop gaming ever since.
I've been a science fiction and fantasy nerd since I learned how to read, and despite being going to journalism school and working in the non-profit world, I would still say science fiction is one thing I'm passionate above all else. Writing has also always played a huge part in my life. I'd like to style myself a sci-fi writer at some point in life, but up until now those ventures have always been colossal failures.
Unfortunately, my schedule has always kept me too busy from playing the amount of games I would like. First school, and now relocating from Kansas to New Orleans to work full-time. Hopefully, Infrno can change that.
Games I'm really digging right now/would be down to play: Cthulhutech, Eclipse Phase, Exalted, and as always, any D&D.
