    About this game

Designed Swords of Midrik back in 2003, started running weekly sessions in early 2007. Game went on haitus sometime in the middle of 2008. All the players are coming back together for the game to resume on August 8th 2010.

    Premise

Every time civilization grows to a certain point, 17 beings known as "the ancients" rise up and destroy everything. Many cycles ago, three blacksmiths forged 5 powerful swords which could destroy the ancients. With the swords, comes a prophecy:

    Five shall wear the rings

    Five shall wield the swords

    Fight the ancient ones

Or all life shall be no more

    One shall betray the rest

Oh, but the traitor's death would be our own

Nathaniel Muck, a former slave raised by blacksmiths becomes heir to this prophecy and the other sword wielders become drawn to him. Now they are torn between following their dreams or saving the world. The clock is running out.

    Style of play
